Tam?
You're computing tubes. Things start to look different and the graph radically changes when you start to compute by missile weight.

Using internet sources, HQ-16 is said to be 615 kg, and the HQ-9 is about 1300 kg. With 32 missiles, a Type 054 carries about 19,680 kg of SAM weight. YJ-83 is said to be around 715 kg of weight, and 8 of them adds 5,720kg. This adds up to a total of 25,400 kg of missile weight. The Type 054A has a full load of just over 4000 tons.

The Type 052D has a full load of 7,500 tons. It carries 64 HQ-9s or have some missiles substitute that. 64 HQ-9s have a total of 83,200 kg of weight. That's actually 3 x over that of the 054A. The HQ-9 does not fully occupy the space of the U-VLS, as the HQ-9 ends with a 6.8m in length, and the U-VLS has 7m and 9m variants. The 9m cells are designed to hold missiles that are bigger than the HQ-9. I could not get weight figures of the YJ-18, but Russian Klub missiles, which the YJ-18 is similar or copied from, ranges from 1300kg to 2300kg depending on Klub family member. The YJ-12 is a humongous 2500 kg. So its possible that the 052D can carry more than 83,000kg of missile weight. So for a ship that has less than double the weight of the other, it can carry more than three times the "war weight".
EDIT
a seemingly missing one red point is at [4.0; 32] (there's a blue point at [4.0; 32] too), which I now checked LOL!

Lieutenant General
Ok time for VLS count for identified warships not commissioned so hold on and are counting only modern warships last 10 years or so and no older refitted ones

29 x FFG= 928 VLS
6 x Type 052C = 288 VLS
17 x Type 052D= 1088 VLS
6 x Type 055 = 672 VLS

Total VLS = 2976

We just need confirmation of 30th x Type 054A and PLAN crosses 3,000 VLS

Good fire power but also long way to go

from what I figured, the Belharras should get 8 Exocets, A-50 VLS with 16 cells, and should be

16 more A-50 VLS cells

with 8 AShM tubes and total of 32 VLS cells, they would be "B+" in the picture:

and in the chart further below (if that happened, they would be properly armed according to me, considering their displacement OK that's what Type 054A has, displacing almost the same)

with 8 AShM tubes and total of 16 VLS cells (instead of 32 as above) houp-là! "B-":

to be procured for "about two billion" Euros according to Armada

if true, can't imagine they would get a meaningful armament ... anyone?

I expect them at or below the level of Fridtjof Nansen-class frigates, as far as armament is concerned. Maybe a bigger main gun, maybe a worse radar.

L&T Defence hands over first prototype Quadruple Cannisterised Inclined Launcher for BrahMos missile on warships.

wondering where and how they'll place it, I mean if inclined at thirty (30) degrees (?) and with ten meters (?) needed for the missile

and "the bottom" (wiring?), it's ... cos(pi/6)*10, almost nine meters of deck space, plus probably not a good idea to put something right behind it LOL

Raytheon contracted to deliver RAM missile systems for Qatari Navy
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

Raytheon Missile Systems has received a $242 million contract to deliver the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Block 2 system for the Qatari Emiri Navy.

The contract, announced by the US defense department May 10, was awarded to the company by the US Naval Sea Systems Command and includes foreign military sales to the governments of Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey.

The contract is potentially worth $529.7 million, should all options be exercised, and is expected to be completed by 2023.

The Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) is already in use by the navies of Turkey and Egypt but this will be the first time the Qatari Navy is acquiring the system.

Back in April 2016, the government of Qatar requested to buy 252 RIM-116C Rolling Airframe Tactical Missiles, and two RIM 116C-2 Rolling Airframe Telemetry Missiles from the US State Department. Also included in the request were support equipment, personnel training, technical and logistics support services, live fire test event support, and other related integration elements.

While it was not specified, the systems are widely expected to be installed on new Qatari Navy vessels which are starting construction this year. Qatar is acquiring a total of seven surface vessels which will be built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri following the signing of a letter of agreement in June 2016. Fincantieri will build four corvettes of over 100 meters in length, one amphibious vessel (LPD – Landing Platform Dock), and two patrol vessels (OPV – Offshore Patrol Vessel) under the contract.
