Does anyone know how many pilots have been trained on CV-16?

8 batches how many on each batch

Also you cannot train a batch and move on, the trained batches need to keep trained so is there new and old batches of pilots on any given deployment on the carrier ?

Keeping so many pilots trained on top of training new ones means a back to back schedule for CV-16

But has it really been out so much ?

CV-17 will help the situation because all the trained pilots can go on CV-17 and CV-16 and keep training new pilots

EAch batches is between 6 and 10 Last count there are 42 carrier qualified pilot So the next batches will add say 6 to 8 So new total is 50 Still not enough for 2 squadaron. Because you normally add between 15 to 20% spare pilot for rotation So you need at least 60 pilots By the time CV17 commisioned late this year or early next year they should have the 60 pilots
