ROFLMAO. You have no idea what kind of capabilities the (currently nonexistent) 095 will have but somehow it's already superior to the Virginia. That's the true sign of a fanboi.

095 is better than your Virginia just as 055 is better than your Arleigh Burke. This is a fact !!

Unlike the 055, you know nothing of the 095 (yet). Nobody here knows. Not even a sketch. People only know what mainland reseerch papers have published (IEPS, shaftless drive?). 095 may not initially employ everything you see in research papers either. Building a quiet SSK is one thing but quietening a sub powered by a nuclear reactor is another. You have to wait and see how quiet 095 SSN is going to be. Unlike PRCs modern surface fleet and SSK fleet, their SSN are not regarded too highly. So claiming the 095 being better than the Virginia as a "fact" is jumping way ahead of yourself.
The other thing is, when it comes to 055, China has had steady incremental progress since the good old 052/051B days when building a large cruiser like ship. 054, 052B, 052C, 054A, 052D, 055 (you can add 071 as well). It was not a quick jump.
So, a simple wait and see approach is much better.

China waited more than 15 years to roll out the 095. 093 had three upgrades arlready. I know that 093 even the 093B is not super quiet, but that is due to the initial design limitation. 095 is a whole different story, everything on it are newly design and advanced. New reactor, new hull design, and new shaft less electric drive pump jet.
