It is more expensive i have nothing vs Pakistan but for a country which have a very big Army, Materials qty etc... the budget is only to 9.9 billions $ impossible do all with it ofc.
With Pakistan Military, it's hardware procurement is based on practical real world pros n cons. Pakistan Military places a "high premium" on its ability to sustain it's hardware "in-country." Having had the bitter experience of foreign sanctions. It is a major factor in when it comes to big ticket procurement. JF-17 Thunders, Al-Khalid MBTs, Agosta-90Bs and Selex-ES Falco UAVs are prime examples of this approach. Pakistan Military would take a robust logistics & maintenance independence over any shiny, expensive hardware, any given day.
The mental approach which defines Pakistan Military is "ready for war, any day." It's what sets this military apart from others in our region. So $9 billion or $90 billion, we look at things on a more practical way than others.
