To clarify on the above discussion:

Varyag (Liaoning) has a ski ramp with a 14 degree slope.

There are rumors about Type 001A having a 12 degree slope. This is actually one of the more 'concrete' rumors we've heard, with big shrimps confirming it on multiple occasions as far as I remember, so you can basically take this as fact.

I have not heard of a 16 degree ramp before.

This was posted 3 days ago. Not the best quality but I think it's good practice to try and collect as many photos as we can. Many features are still discernible. Hull scaffolding and support has almost been completely remove, indicating that launch is getting closer and closer.

Has the zinc chromate primer been applied? Follow by the L skid ? Once those are completed it will be very very soon.
Yes, we need to look for the paint. But really the only paint that we need to look for is at the waterline or below. But more likely they will at the very least paint the entire underside of the ship before they launch it.
