from what I figured, recently it's been just Artillery (up to and including 9" MLRSs)
(I don't mean to be cynical, what I mean is there haven't occurred large scale Infantry attacks at/around checkpoints; the defense lines of both sides are ready, I guess)

now a post popped up above, so I'll briefly comment on the Ukrainian defenses: I've read they've established three layers, so that they can theoretically mount counter-strikes before the first; second layers are breached (operational reserves on the third), and have strategic reserves placed fairly close, like in

Full assault or just artillery fire at some designated site? Even with just an artillery fire would be more than enough for the media to get the Trump's administration attention.
