Rumor has it that WS-10 equipped J-11Bs wiped the floor with J-10s, Su-30s, and J-11As. Does this mean that the WS-10s are finally ready?

I don't think those 2 are closely related matters. We've heard exercises where J-10 defeated J-11 by some 1:13 loss ratio. Then, the J-11's developed new strategies and defeated the J-10 squad. Then, more experienced pilots flying J-11A defeated rookies flying J-11B. Now this is no surprise that J-11B pilots won in this exercise, especially if the J-10 adversaries were A variant. I don't think this means anything really.

not really. The same post also had poster that said J-10 was the big victor the previous years. It just means J-11B now is in a mature state. Depending on the DACT scenario and pilot experience and tactics deployed, you could have either J-10, J-11B or J-11A winning.

WS-10 achieved production certification. That indicated it was ready.

The exercise where J-10 defeated J-11 was against older J-11As/Su27s with outdated avionics though.

Curious to see how the J-10B/Cs will stack up against the J-11Ds/J-16s next year.

J-16s all use WS-10 without exception. There's no ambiguity about it.

Newly released pic shows J-11B carried the unnamed long range AAM PLxx in last year's Red Sword exercise.

According to a paper, the range of this missile flies at a speed of Mach 4 to 5 with a rhythmic? stratospheric atmosphere of over 300 km, over 30 km. After firing, it will rise to a high altitude of 30 km or more, beat the enemy above the radar detection blind spot, and then hit at a high speed rapidly.

This means this weapon was long in service for it to appear in Red Sword. Also would disprove the notion that it might have been an AG weapon just because it was first seen on a J-16.

Now, get this missile onto the J-15s as well! And maybe a reduced range-variant for the J-20?

Ohh come on ! First of all it's a J-16 not 19 and what's so special on this ? Not a single Flanker since Batch 02 J-11B - excluding the J-15 - are using AL-31F any more, since years.
