Russia media took a photo of Chinese technicians with SU-35 (#01). It was reported that the first batch of 4 SU-35 will fly to China December 25. In November, China and Russia signed a contract to buy 24 Su-35 fighter jet, total US $2 billion. Russia is planning for 2017 onwards delivery.

"Well I saw her Face, ooooooh Master Jura-- could you cue up the "Monkeys" link Bub???

I will wait till they get to China till I give B787 his apology,,, Heh, Heh, Heh,
No need for apologies, i am not that arrogant, i am not satisfied by apologies , i am just happy when the truth wins.
I am also eager to see them, personally i think Russia is making a mistake, Su-35 is a very advanced machine, but the Russians have not yet learnt to trust God, they trust their weapons, not the Gospel, not Jesus, but as proverbs say fool is one who trust in men but not in God, and Russia will learnt the hard way

I have this feeling these flankers are going to be stationed in the SCS.

Why ?? There's simply no, not a single need to base this highly specialised fighter so much far off in an operational environment. If You want to base there something, the current J-11BH/BSH are more than sufficient.

IMO the main reason - besides a political one - is the explore TVC-maneuverers and as such they will be based at a FTTC-base.

I have read... especialy useful in this area for her range the more large for a fighter with J-20 for him right now approx datas but seems good.

An excellent fighter with a very long range and powerful radar the best with APG-77/F-22 want around 70 bill $ do good money versatile ofc but Russian AF use mainly A2A combat missions, build as first Chines Su-27/J-11 to Komsomolsk ( 4 plants build Sukhoi all in Siberia/Far East ) close China KnAAPO, Komsomolsk the plant just close Dzemgi AB which host the 1st Rgt to receive Su-27 in 1985 and 35 in 2013.

Remains curious only 24 and i see also yesterday the 2nd CV homeported to Hainan hehe

In any regard my apologies to all, as I was rather certain this deal would "Never Fly"? I stated that rather firmly, (I was initially a believer). So a grave error, (Brat bowing Deeply), sorry gents.

Asif Iqbal, "NEW AIRPLANES MAKE ANY BIG BOY SMILE", what a great Christmas present for the PLAAF, this will give them pause for thought on OVT for the J-20?? but after they work on that bad boy, the mechanics are likely gonna cuss those nozzles???

Asif in response to your concern?? if we could buy an additional 500 F-22's from say the Japanese or even YF-23's, I'd be all in! This "cements the Sino-Russia partnership with more glue, and comes as the Indians are very seriously considering the F-35 as opposed to PAK-FA.

If the Indians flew PAK-FA and the F-35 side by side, no doubt in my mind the pilots would buy the F-35, due to a very superior "tactical warfare capability" with its outstanding sensors and displays!

So the Russians have a little cash, and I'm rather certain, Sukhoi will plow that back into PAK-FA, which is a very attractive and agile aeroplane. Things are moving and shaking now!

and Gents, this is Big News!

I know a few take this still not for granted, but at least via "my" source:

I have always stood by your source, I just didn't see the utility of this whole deal! but no doubt those big "Flankers" love their OVT, it gives them a little more push in those pitch transitions, and that "big wing" makes LOTS of lift.

Congratulations Deino, maybe you can pick his brain and see if that cash will be rolled into the T-50?? (it may have been already?) as we have seen several 2nd version prototypes first flight??

The SCS is a place where lots of countries have an interest in. I can imagine that the chinese do not want their electronic emissions compromised, so they now have foreign made fighters to patrol the SCS and even engaging adversaries if there is a need to.

Having the coast guard and foreign made fighters patrol a potential conflict zone makes sense if you want to keep your radar signatures as secret as possible in a place were anyone can fly or float by with their ELINT (air)craft
