What is the big deal of Russia is or is not bombing Aleppo today or tomorrow?

Question should be asked instead, is SAA carrying out air-rides over Aleppo? Why is SAA confident to do so without Russian counterpart? Air defense around Aleppo? What is the difference if the bombs fall from a Russian jet or Syrian jet?

now I looked more closely into recent Kurdish claims (I don't think I saw a word about pulling east to the Euphrates ... but I might read just from fanbois :) anyway, in the map below, Manbij is marked, and they first (in general it's activity during this week; some dates are available in the map I posted yesterday https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/is...no-oped-no-policis.t6913/page-417#post-412068) took it north (marked as #1: crossing the Sayur, towards Jarabulus), then (#2) turned west to "screen" the interior of Syria from the Turks&Rebels (schematically shown in blue in Jarabulus area) and Rebels (schematically shown in Al-Rai); Kurdish bulge (schematically shown in orange, #3) now extends towards Arima in the west (but doesn't include it) and Khirbat Ar Rous in the south (and does include it):

since then, in addition to Rebels/Turks advances (well advertised :) with numbers of shots fired by Firtina howitzers announced etc.), also Eastern Kurds were able to gain some territory from ISIL and most recently encircled

so I schematically updated the above map with the orange dotted line (an expansion of the territory under the Kurdish control) and the black dotted line (behind which ISIL still is (in middle-bottom, and in Arima)):

(thought it would be worse, but yeah, can change your oxygen level :)
Yesterday and today there is much discussion on the BBC about BBC World Service increasing its "independent" reporting in more languages and being paid for it by the Foreign Office!
This year I have been listening to BBC for fifty years.

I learned very young, shortly after I learned reading, that it makes sense to compare news given by several channels. This spokesman shows that he thinks you should limit yourself to a single channel.

... and if one thought it was complicated, then one should know it was in fact oversimplified view while compared to what I found now which is:
