Humanity and world peace does not revolves around "Hebrew Scriptures" and such "war of rumors". Learn from real historical facts instead albeit no matter how boring it may be and can all avoid it instead of feeling paranoid because of some religious institutional elitist said so.

So I should listen to a KOOL ASIAN DUDE in a Cowboy Hat??? Heh! Heh! Heh! come on Bub, you're the one who ought to read some history???

Hey, my daughter Mollie is changing planes in Houston this morning, I told her if she has any trouble to look you up, you'd be wearing a big black Stetson and calling Rush Limbaugh on your Iphone 7, or are you a "big bang theory Galaxy 7 man"????

I don't know that I'm "paranoid"??? but I do carry my Bible and a 45, actually if it all goes in the "krapper", I'll prolly strap on my Guvment Super 38???

The part about 'american masters' should should be enough to report your post for deletion. I don't know from which planet you come from writing how Japanese are hated in entire Asia when here, on planet Earth, it's not true. Japanese even have a term for those 'anti-Japanese' countries - they call them 'tokutei ajia' which means 'specific Asia' and consists of three countries: both Koreas and PRC. That's all. Chinese living on Taiwan don't feel like that (but they were probably brainwashed by 'americans' after the war according to your logic I presume). And even chairman Mao had some thankfull thoughts about them after the war (don't ask me why).

OK, I'll stop here as it's SCS thread.

Nope, it is you who seems to be living on another planet. LOL!
Singaporeans do not like Japanese either. Nor Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia , even Australia and New Zealand.

Oh and Taiwan? LOL.

Woah guys.
Let's keep this thread "SCS Strategy thread" not "the state of Asian cultures" or "religion vs atheism".

Both topics are seriously flamebaity.

what the heck is this supposed to mean (SCS mentioned inside; dated Oct 11, 2016)?
Over 1,000 Protest in Front of Chinese Defense Ministry
More than 1,000 protesters walked and chanted in front of China's defense ministry Tuesday, the latest apparent demonstration by soldiers as the world's largest standing military modernizes and downsizes.

The protesters stood for several hours in front of the Bayi building in central Beijing, home of the Chinese Ministry of National Defense. Many wore green fatigues bearing the hammer-and-sickle logo of China's ruling Communist Party.

The purpose of their demonstration was unclear. Protesters approached by The Associated Press declined to be interviewed, and censors blocked searches on social media about retired soldiers or the Chinese defense ministry.

Hundreds of police and plainclothes security officers surrounded the protesters, hemming them in with buses and police vehicles.

While Chinese authorities routinely suppress discussions about the military and soldiers' issues, one human-rights activist, Huang Qi, told the AP that veterans have staged more than 50 protests this year alone. However, demonstrations on such a large scale are extremely rare in the center of the heavily policed capital.

Two demonstrators told AP they were veterans who wanted the government to address military pensions, but they didn't want to discuss the issue with foreign media. The protesters declined to give their names.

Liu Feiyue, editor of the website Minsheng Guancha, which monitors civil rights issues, said he was told by retired soldiers that other ex-soldiers were present.

"They protested because they don't have a job now after serving a long period of time in the army, some for a dozen years," Liu said. "They are asking for employment."

China's armed forces are undergoing a large-scale modernization to become a nimble organization that can better handle conflicts at sea and in the air.

Those measures have gained pace as China builds up its presence in the South China and East China Seas amid territorial disputes and as relations have soured with self-governing Taiwan — which China claims as its own territory to be unified with by force if necessary.

President Xi Jinping announced last year that the 2.3-million-member People's Liberation Army would cut 300,000 personnel but little has been said about the cost or where the surplus troops would go.

Veterans have staged sit-ins and protests for several years over low or absent pensions and an inability to find work outside the military.

It wasn't clear if anyone had been arrested Tuesday. Local police did not respond to faxed questions, and no one answered the phone at the press office of the defense ministry.

The part about language I will leave alone because I don't know what you're even writing about as both languages are completely different (Korean is similar to Japanese, not Chinese).I'm not even trying to comment on that... There are millions of ethnic Koreans living in today's PRC. That's if you didn't know about that.lol,

Did you even bother to read my post here it is I said there is large Chinese Korean community in Jilin
I guess you need glasses

I don't know why you post it here but It's not excellent and has got many historical discrepancies. Fun fact if didn't know about: Koreans and Chinese were afraid of starting hand to hand combat on swords with Japanese samurai as they were considered to be too good in that aspect. The battle presented on the movie was between Korean navy and Japanese vanguard forces (not the main one). It ended without stopping Japanese fleet from going through that strait and Korean fleet became useless after this battle to the rest of the war. But I can see a reason why they're making films about that and not about great defeats that Chinese and Korean warriors suffered around that time which were pretty similar on brilliance of Japanese commanders on most of the cases. But maybe it was because Japanese had so many victories there that they don't pick up a specific one and make it mythical? Just my guess.

Wrong again you didn't even bother to read the link that I provide it to you
Japan won the early phase of the war because the Chinese doesn't take them seriously and only send 3000 reinforcement .
But as soon as Japan reached Imjin which is a river close to Pyongyang the Ming take them seriously and send 50000 Chinese troop who routed the Japanese with cannon(artillery) .

Now who want hand to hand combat when you have cannon . Use your logic

They did hold sliver of land in south east of Korea It become stalemate with no reinforcement because th e combine Korea and Chinese navy block them. When Hideyoshi dies the Japanese cannot continue the war because short of fund so they withdraw.

They didn't hold a single inch of Korean territory! So where is the proof that Japan won .They never come back again for 300 years until 1890

[QUOTE="Hendrik_2000, post:

I would not bother with Janis. The dude is talking out of his arse about historical Korean Chinese relations. Aside from the jap invasions and Korean asking for help from Ming dynasty china, the Confucian heritage and Chinese language, it is quite clear for everyone with half a brain how close official relations were between the two nations by reading from official historical sources how angrily the Korean king replied to the Japanese when they tried to persuade Korea to leave the Chinese sphere of influence.

Don't worry, Janiz. The Chinese are much more pragmatic than your side. And South Korea will experience there own Duterte-like rebellion against the US because like the Philippines realized they'll see how they will get the raw end of the deal.

Judging from comments on some US websites like reddit, people are just abit butthurt at the recent turn of events. Doubt most would really care much what they think at this point. We will see all this play out eventually.

Sounds like military retirees are getting "ripped off"??? but people are afraid to speak their mind, and tell you their name. Things are tough here, but at least we can Bitch and Moan out loud and in public! as well as point our finger and name the sorry sak of krap that keeps "krapping" on the rest of us!

Sounds like XI is shrinking the military slightly, likely due to the very poor US/Chinese economy. If Trump gets elected, we could all be back in business, he does know what it takes to manage a "start-up" and that's basically where we are after 8 years of the Obama Depression, and HRC, well forget that, we will be looking at 1929 again, WOW!

One of the reasons China is looking to move out into the South China Sea, more fishing, and rich in mineral resources, new sources of food and income are highly motivational to everybody. China has an endless appetite for more resources, and if the recession we have here in the States rolls into China full tilt, as it has here, there will be more and more "unhappy folks protesting".

Likely the reason China has rolled full tilt into building their own "islands", necessity is the "mother of invention", and the SCS is an area they can move into and take over with little real opposition from the poor neighbors.
