Thanks a lot, but it is strange .. 12. Fighter Division now - already since several years - has 2y3x-serials with the following current regiments:

34th Air Regiment at Qihe - J-10A/AS
35th Air Regiment at Gaomi - J-8II, JJ-7
36th Air Regiment at Wendeng - J-7G, JJ-7A

Burt if it was taken at a J-10's regiment, then it's at Qihe and not Weihai

It's about a wedding ceremony in PLAAF.
The fact that the licence plate on the vehicle started with 机场WH(Weihai Airport) and those J-10 in other pictures definitely confirmed the J-10 in Weihai.

I've read some website suggest that India has deployed Brahmos missile along Chinese border and export this missile to Vietnam. The variant that Vietnam plan to purchase might be air to surface. It sounds like a threat to Chinese surface combatant vessels. May I have a question if China has any directly counterpart to these missile?

Hi everybody
Chinese aviation industry Can upgrade the Iranian Su-24Mk Fencer?
Are the Chinese capable? Yes.

Will they do so? Almost certainly not.

The Chinese are building their own aircraft for that type of role.

They are creating a stop gap with the JH-7B. They are developing the J-16 of their own. They do not have any SU-24s in any case.

The Russians are not going there because they have already created the SU-34 which is a better solution for them in any case.

YJ-12 seems to be the Chinese equivalent of the Oniks, which is the domestic Russian version of the BrahMos. It's important to note that both the Oniks and YJ-12 are not constrained by export restrictions on range like the BrahMos.

Here's Huitong's page on missiles including the YJ-12.

Personally I would choose J-10AS instead of J-10A for economic reasons. But two J-10A for each couple is reasonale in case the couple had a spat.

Anyway, let's uhhh... not turn this thread sideways.

I have a question to ask!

Since a fighter's radar is more or less a flat surface pointing foreards and a fighter's nose fairing is made of materials that would let radar waves pass(otherwise the radar would be "blinded").

Does it mean:
To an enemy radar, the fighter essentially have a flat screen in front of it instead of a pointy nose?

How does stealth fighters deal with this? A flat screen is bad for RCS, right?
