Nice... a full dozen operational F-22s right there.Raptors in Japan.
More than a dozen, I think. 14 were reported.
Hehehe...well, I did say "right there" meaning in the picture.
If they deployed 14 all together...all the better!
Most I ever saw at one time was this pic of 15 flying together in formation:
Coincidence and number regurlarly deployed to Kadena where very possible they go after the training
From Alaska it is a very direct road to Japan and it is not by chance that the 2nd front line Wing on F-35A, with 2 sqns begin in 2019, be based to Eielson...

I guess I need to apologize to Jeff since there are 12 raptors, not 14. Fourteen referred to the number of F-16s.
And its this type integrity that elevates most SDF posters to the status of extra-ordinary gentlemen, our few hold-outs who are never wrong are maddening, even when given sufficient evidence of their folly they continue to be "internet experts".
Oh well, Siege, thank-you buddy, I sometimes make those same type of errors, and with the volume of information, and the diverse sources it is very difficult to maintain accuracy, It is so refreshing here on SDF to know that 99% of our posters are bringing their very best, and correct themselves when they do make those little in-evitable boo-boos, but 12 Raptors is still a bunch.

F-22 is visible do you want a proof? easy light is a electromagnetic wave, like radar waves are electromagnetic waves, our eyes are passive radars, F-22 has a shadow too showing it does reflect radar and light, stealth only works if the radar is pretty weak, but stealth is only radar cross section management with the goal of making more expensive the detection of an aircraft, eventually stealth will be rendered obsolete as radars get stronger and by that i mean more powerful by means of emission and smarter by means of discrimination.
The F-22 is very likely stealthy upon certain models of radars, early Su-27`s radars will not see it but at very few miles from it. same early radars on Mirage 2000, F-18s, MiG-29s, F-16s or F-15. but that can not be always possible with newer radars, IRSTs and SAMs
A simple question can F-22 detect another stealth fighter and can western radars detect stealth fighters? the answer is yes, stealth is only radar detection reduction upon certain radar models

Ace, this is the F-22 thread, once you emit, you R DEAD! now go on back to your anti stealth thread, you R emitting loads of stuff? You have no proof of anything, and your Buddy Pierre is busted on Wiki, look up the "fighter mafia" and read it all. He has NO aeronautical degree, he has no engineering degree, and he is NOT a pilot! that's why he is in the music business now? he got "busted" as a Bull Shooter? The airplane he pretends to have designed now has a very powerful radar and lots of EW equipment, it always has had all those things he claimed were useless on a light fighter? He has been professionally run out of town by legitimate professionals in the biz.

I read a rather peculiar piece few years back. During plain F-22 1-on-1, that is one raptor against another, neither have any AWACS or ground support. During the battle.......well...........nothing actually happened. The 2 jets couldn't locate each other, and completely missed each other
