The situation gets more confused every day seems like they could agree on defeating the common enemy first and that is Isis then work on a political solution the other problem my suggestion is leave Assad in power kind of like the Brita have with the totals might take some persuasion though but could be possible

What is another $100 million going to do that the now cancelled $500 million program to train rebels against Assad couldn't? How about buy more weapons that will be handed over to Al Qaeda? More airstrikes on ISIS? Before the Russians entered the scene there was a report that said US airstrikes did nothing to stop ISIS. It has been a year and nothing to show for it. It sounds to me that all these newly announced actions are just superficial gestures to counter Russian actions.

was taken by ISIL thus directly threatening Homs - Damascus connection through "M5", plus I've read Mahin has been kinda stronghold ... so just amateurish map today:

oh, it doesn't even show the scale ... it's about ten miles from Mahin to that road
(OK, I don't know how serious problem the fall of Mahin is.)
back to Aleppo area: seems the Regular Army hasn't made it to the Kuweiris airbase yet
