I just feel that the match between Brazil and Germany was not fair. There seems to be some "black hand" inside though I don't have hard evidence to prove it. And the final match between Argentina and Germany, Argentina will win. Do you know why? Because this is South America! Just my personal opinion.

Personally I kinda prefer the Germans to prevail..
Germany's a better team as a whole ;)

For some reason, the Brazilians were stunned after Germany's first few easy goals and suddenly just forgot how to play football.

Football, you scary.

Good thing the old man even managed a smile when giving away the trophy.

I watched that game several times over and IMO you can point the finger at David Luiz who was totally clueless to the role he had been given Also as well as being out of position a lot of the time he was allowing his immediate opponent too much room to move. You can attribute 5 maybe 6 of the goals scored against Brazil to his mistakes.
I reckon PSG must be regretting the $96 million they paid for him.

What I would like to see in the final is a early goal and then it will be game on, and with the game opening up anyone could win.

I wonder if the Brazilians can stomach their next door neighbour winning the cup and will be cheering for the Germans. Some people have suggested the Brazilian fans might stay away and the game played to a near empty stadium.

Judging from his performance in the semi against Germany, David Luiz is definitely overrated. But it's not just him, the entire Brazilian defense in the first half was terrible. They were almost playing 0-6-4 formation.

The pool is up to around 1300 dollars. Unfortunately, I am not the only person betting on Germany in the office. There are three others. And in the event that we won, We probably would have to treat our coworkers to dinner so I expect to get no more than 150 dollars out of this.

Where I work now is permeated with about 90% women.. there has never been any sports pool here in my three years working here. Most of the women here don't even follow the NFL.. A few do follow University of Iowa football.. and I'm sure most don't even know what the World Cup is..

The Germans might be too cocky after the 7-1 victory over Brazil whereas the Argentinians had a hard-won victory against the Dutch. I think I'll root for Argentina on Sunday.
