There are numerous photos of Minsk from Minsk world park on the web. You can compare the bridge of the Minsk to the Indian carrier and see what the Russians did to update it.

Nice. that's a virtual clone of the Kiev's bridge that's in Tianjin too (naturally, they are both of the same class obviously).

I'd post some photos of the Kiev's bridge I took in Tianjin, but unfortunately none of them are free of my derp face.

Edit:

here it is, with my derpy face cut out. Clearly the Kiev is much better maintained than the poor Minsk.

I took some other photos of the Kiev's interior when I went back to China last year. If anyone's interested I could upload a few, but I suspect most of the interior is old hat for people here.

And Jeff, that's an excellent shot of the Liaoning's bridge and workstations. It must have taken an age to find that photo, or indeed to find a video to make that screen shot

This picture may give you some ideas of the CIC of the Vikramaditya. Its shows the work stations of the lesorub-e command and control systems installed on the Vikramaditya.

It makes a lot of sense that the Vikramaditya and Minsk have almost identical bridges and that the number of changes were limited. The Vikramaditya started out as a complete ship of the Minsk class. Her reconfiguration into a true carrier from a cruiser had to take in mind a already set and built structure.
its kinda like renting a office in the empire state building. The electrical, plumbing, structure, telephone and AC were all built in the depression and impossible to get at.
the Chinese by contrast had a lot more leeway to build to there liking as the Vayang was incomplete and no where near outfitted.
its like building a totally new office inside the facade of a existing building. The outside is fixed the inside is yours.

Looks like only one Indian aviator landed on Vikramaditya in Mig-29K , but not as a pilot flying the aircraft :

1st Indian Pilot To Land On Vikramaditya

In these pictures seen here on Livefist for the first time, is Commodore Surendra Ahuja, who on September 3 became the first Indian pilot to be 'trapped' on the Vikramaditya in a MiG-29KUB. This wasn't a solo flight, however: Cmde. Ahuja was flying with MiG Test Pilot Sergei Rubnikov, who was captain of the aircraft during this flight. The first solo landing by an Indian pilot on the Vikramaditya is likely to take place in Feb/March next year by a pilot from the INAS 303 squadron.

Cmde. Ahuja, currently posted to Naval HQ, was in Russia for 80 days (from early Aug to mid Oct 2013) for Aviation Facilities Complex Delivery Acceptance Trials - most of the flying happened north of Murmansk (north of the Arctic Circle) -- which is why pilots flying at the time had to use immersion suits. Cmde. Ahuja was also, incidentally, the first "new mould" Indian pilot certified in tailhook landings.

I thought that it was an elite Indian test pilot that landed the plane on the Vikramaditya on 3 september. But instead we got an old dude sitting in the back ?

The Vikramaditya and her crew will have a trial by fire of sorts when they have to sail the ship from Russia to India a trip that would take more than a month and perhabs more than 10000km. Does anyone know if the crew that will sail to India will be a completely Indian crew or a Russian/Indian mixed crew ?

Wasn't there suppose to be a long haul journey this year for the Liaoning too ? When is that going to take place ?

SEVERODVINSK: The INS Vikramaditya will sail to India later this month with a 183-member Russian 'guarantee team' on board, that will remain in Karwar for a period of one year to smoothen the induction process and help the ship and crew settle into operating from home base.

"The guarantee specialists will be in India for one year. We are currently negotiating contract obligations for the post-guarantee period," Igor Ponomarev, vice president of Russia's United Shipbuilding Corporation said yesterday at a press conference here in Severodvinsk.
