Certainly in pre production stage. We see number of them in PLAN color. It won't be long just matter of finding production slot .They have been testing it since 2009. Giving another year of Varyag testing, just about the right time to start production next year.Assuming 2 jets for a month that will give them 24 jets at the beginning of 2013

Hi Hendrik (or anyone who might be able to answer this),

In regard to your assumption of two jets produced per month. Is that consider a high production rate or otherwise? In reference to fighter jets production by manufacturers around the world? Thanks in advance.

据俄罗斯《观点报》11月22日报道，中国沈飞已完成了对俄制苏-30MK2多用途战斗机的仿制工作。

《汉和亚洲防务》宣称，这种新仿制的战机被称为歼-16。显然，中国海军对此前购买的苏-30MK2的性能非常满意。有消息人士指出，中国军方在认识到苏-30MK2的作战能力后，向沈阳方面提出了对这种战机进行仿制的要求。同时，中国军方还要求仿制机型能够发射国产反舰导弹，以强化对水面目标的打击能力。据悉，歼-16的机体结构总体上接近之前问世的歼-11BS。

《汉和亚洲防务》报道称，中国海军已订购了24架歼-16，首批战机已在生产之中。

俄媒称，从2010年初开始，中国海军还开始接收首批国产的歼-10A多用途全天候战斗机，此举显著提升了其航空兵的总体技术水平。

俄媒称，来自中国军方的消息人士透露称，中国空军暂时还未装备国内仿制的苏-30MKK。通常情况下，中国海军总是会首先装备新型战斗机。例如，中国国产的歼轰-7便是在装备海军后才开始在空军服役的。（北斗）




according to a russian newspaper, Chinese clone copy of SU-30Mk already finish.
according to kanwa, Chinese clone copy of SU-30mk is designted as J-16,PLAN alreadyt order the first 24 aircraft.
