A visit to the archives - An L-100 (civilian variant of the C-130) in China Eastern Airlines livery parked at Nagoya Komaki Airport sometime in the 1990s. Said aircraft (of the 2x L-100s purchased by CAAC in the 1980s) was regularly used for transporting exported eels from Fuzhou to Nagoya. The aircraft was retired in 1999.

Speaking of which - Here's another look at the AEP380/400 turboprop engine from the rear.

The paint scheme of the resurrected MA700 does look to be similar.

It's really amazing, we have less images from the MA-700 than from the latest next generation fighters or even the Y-15!
