From that altitude, at this distance, with the specific camera quality in question? I would not rule it out being a bizjet.

---

That said whether it's a bizjet or a drone doesn't really matter -- we know the PLA have many weird and wonderful UAVs of different sizes and configurations anyhow, and whether this specific thing is a UAV doesn't really matter
Could it be an CH-6?1000163938.jpg

Whatever it is, it's moving fast. Contrails happen when the aircraft is between 28K-40K ft altitude. Normally going from horizon to horizon you'll see from the back end of the contrails it'll be visibly dissipated. Here it's still pretty tight meaning it's moving pretty fast probably more than a standard commercial aircraft.

Jet liners move much faster than people give them credit for. Some cruise around 600 mph.

Bizjets can cruise up to M0.95 and fly higher than regular passenger jets.

Wing sweep, engine locations, twin engine, wing mount relative to fuselage, fuselage length and width... all point to bizjet.

Could be something like a CH-6 as well or similar MALE drone. Overall planform doesn't appear exotic so not that much to write home about anyway.

I don't think the CH-6 has made its maiden flight yet!

They simply may not announce it. There could also be many different CH-6 like designs flying.

Whatever the aircraft is, it's not anything "cool" or exotic like the UADFs for example.

The UADFs are flying in test facilities but ain't no way any random city dweller is getting a video of a UADF just yet.

It's pretty incredible that GJ-x flying was able to be captured (probably with PLA and CPC approval). That is about as exciting as it can get with military watching.

I don't think we need to bend over backwards to try and justify the idea that it is a UAV or a military aircraft.

Given the lack of clarity of the footage, and given we know that commercial or bizjet aircraft can look like what is discernable, it is more useful for us to just ignore it instead and acknowledge it is probably nothing interesting rather than try to shoehorn in the idea that it might be XYZ.
