Are there any pictures of those modernised Type 77s?
Isn't that magazine a bit too small for the rifle ammunition it's supposed to use?
It only holds 20 rounds, but considering China's strict firearm regulations, that's more than enough

It's an old SMG. The newer CL/LS6 has 30 rounds.

The CL/LS7 was introduced back in 2014 and has been in continued use to date. The older SMGs are not in production anymore, to my knowledge. Those who use the upgrade kit for the old SMG mostly do that because they haven't gotten the CL/LS7 yet.
But I’m talking about the CS/LS6, not the CS/LS7 – I don’t even know if they’re the same weapon or not, because I hadn’t even heard of the CS/LS7
