wow, the average rank on that mound is probably major to lieutenant colonel? the crew commander is so screwed...
ZBD commander launches smoke at observers accidentally, apparently says the Chinese equivalent of “it’s so over” at the end of the clip.
How did something like that get out?

It’s most likely from years ago. The personnel involved have probably retired by now, and the confidentiality period has expired. How did something like that get out?
Interesting. Would honestly make sense for these airborne units/vehicles to have, as they're essentially light infantry and limited in what they can carry. Having loitering munitions would allow them to be used for ISR roles and to give them some form of "long-range" strike capability, or maybe not really "long-range" depending on what kind of munitions they are (20km+?), but just something to be able to engage targets at a further distance before they can even see them.View attachment 172534View attachment 172535View attachment 172536
So the 4 are loitering munitions?View attachment 172537

I wonder if it would make sense to make an airborne vehicle dedicated to carrying either say at least 15-20 CM-501 series multi-purpose munitions (CM-501G/GA?) or longer-ranged loitering munitions. It would give them more firepower and "long-range" strike capabilities.
Speaking of which, does anyone know if the PLAGF operates any of the VLS-launched CM-501 series munitions such as the CM-501G/GA? I know they operate in-service variants of the CM-502 series ATGMs on their attack helis, but I'd assume probably not as I've never seen or heard of such a thing.
