The SM-2 is designed for a long service life, still we talk there about 20 to 30 years of well maintained service life. they were out of production a while and starting back in 2017 for export mostly and in low numbers..
Any SM-2 from production before 2000 without complete refurbishment of rocket engine fuel are probably derelict. The one that are in good shape are SM-2 Block IV produced after 1998. If they dont shoot the old variants now they will never be used anyway. Production is turned to newer interceptor like sm3 and sm6 and PAC3.
