Taiwan KMT vice chair: Not afraid about Xi catches Lai, following the example of what Trump did to Maduro, cause he believes Xi has feelings for Taiwan.

I'm actually not surprised this kind of language is used by a Taiwan politician. It is also not the first time I have heard someone use sentimental explanations in place of other analogy such as that China is like an unwanted suitor. Most people struggle to grasp realpolitik, game theory, and the power dynamics behind global or even regional geopolitics, so they use poor real-life analogies or sentiment-based reasons that they can better understand like examples from interpersonal relations. These analogies of course make no sense and don't at all match the real power dynamics at play.Taiwan KMT vice chair: Not afraid about Xi catches Lai, following the example of what Trump did to Maduro, cause he believes Xi has feelings for Taiwan.
Genuinely what was UAE's plan? Attack the Saudi backed forces and lose? UAE is the dumbest country ever that does nothing but to sow chaos.
STC in Yemen has completely collapsed. Saudi-backed forces won against UAE-backed forces
Maybe Mao right this whole time. All those rich guys from China who ran away to Singapore to evade taxes or whatever are gonna be in big trouble now.

Who are the blue guys and why is no one messing with them? Also, who supports the Houthis and why are the red and yellow groups seemingly unable or unwilling to take them on?UAE backed STC was winning a couple weeks ago. I thought the Saudi intervention was an attempt to keep the PLC alive since I didn’t pay it any attention. But the PLC launched a counter attack with the imminent total defeat of STC. The STC Capital was reportedly abandoned by STC troops fleeing the area before the PLC forces arrive. Now the UAE is facing a crushing defeat.
Red is the PLC, Yellow is the STC, and Green are the Houthis.

It's deliberate, recall Japan tried to cover up the Hiroshima bomb too at first by not reporting about it.It's hard for me to believe that they're really this slow. This looks like a full sanction of all industrially, medically, chemically, and technologically useful inputs. This makes US sanctions on China from earlier years looks like a walk in the park.
Wait I missed the best one in that list:Shit guys, have you seen the list of goods banned? It's 147 pages and it's crazy!
Here's a sample:

That's not "well it's like the RE ban but a bit stronger", this is some "Japan, you are now banned from chemistry" type thing. Look at that list, even common chemicals like iodine, activated carbon, mercury, ethonol, red phosphorus etc etc are banned on account of "could be used in the manufacturing of illicit drugs". Elsewhere in the list, even things like table sugar is banned because it could be used in making explosives. The best part is has a catch-all clause at the end that says anything further that could be used to strengthen Japan's military could be added to the ban list at a moment's notice.
To even start to make their own RE Japan would first need to rebuild back up their own set of modern industrial scale chemical production.

Red and Yellow are sparsely populated. It's like controlling the Gobi Desert - just empty and barren land.Who are the blue guys and why is no one messing with them? Also, who supports the Houthis and why are the red and yellow groups seemingly unable or unwilling to take them on?
