It's basically the US coming out and saying we removed Maduro to send a message to China (ie "show China who's the real boss").
It's a classic "kill the chicken to scare the monkey" tactic, much like the US's recent moves in Syria and Iran.
But I think China won't fall for it.
I don't think Lindsey is qualified to send this signal; he's no the part of Trump's inner circle and just riding the wave.

aka sending real military weapon to help or build military base even in case some weak nation open calling china in for help and offer everything just to get a tripwire military base

Events like these make me see eye to eye with how the North Koreans see the world, the US doesn't want countries to have nuclear weapons so they are able to invade them no doubt.

China cannot militarily involved itself in any conflict around the world. It doesn't have the capacity yet. China can only provide defense weapon and raw missile materials. By 2035, China will have 6 aircraft carrier then they can start talking.
Right now, China can put up a great fight against US if they dare attack them in their soil. U.S will not win in that scenario.
What China is doing is basically amassing or absorbing as much Chi as possible like Goku, then release it all at once. It will take awhile.
