anyway why do you think US regime change venezuela , capture maduro so easy like a cakewalk
because they spend years fucking up venezuela economy with saction , degrade their economy , make them poor , make venezuela population suffer .
that why when they strike no fking one in venezuela have any mood to fight for the country or for the leader
what kind of result you expect gonna happen if US act like china let venezuela alone , free to trade , earn fking tons of money like taiwan for decades , population quality of life become so good ?
Can we stop this silly line of argument?
China cannot sanction Taiwan, not because it is not courageous, but because it would be practically useless, as the West and its allies can simply fill in the gap. The US + EU + Japan + South Korea is >50% of the global economy. Until that changes, sanctions are useless.
The first step to ending US hegemony has always been economic in nature. There are incremental and significant moves towards this happening, if you've been following the news and this forum - clear signs the US is no longer the economic super power it once was.
But of course, the US isn't stupid and unaware, contrary to some people's expectations, and more importantly, its allies are too deeply entrenched in the US global system to pull out, which means the US still has time and competence on its side. So it's chosen to strike back and intimidate the rest of the world into not abandoning the dollar and the US financial markets - the two pillars of the US's economic super power.
These are, however, simply delaying tactics. The real contest is in the domain of technology and specifically AI. If the US can reach AGI before the rest of the world, then it can ensure its hegemony for centuries to come. If it can't, then it's not going to change the general trajectory of the US economy - Americans are just too decadent, Trump is trying to change that, but he won't succeed because once decadence has set into a culture, it can't really be changed without revolution.
