It takes 18 years and god knows how much resources to develop one human being in China. And if that guy somehow had a skill thats very valuable, its gone forever if he dies.

How long does it take to produce one drone in wartime China? Basically a few minutes since drone production is done in batches and it probably takes a few hours in total for the process.

Guy can't even do math right. Or maybe he can't see it coz it costs 1 gorillion dollars and 5 years to make one simple weapon in America these days.

Btw Americans believed China used human wave tactics during the Korean War when we have literal evidence, that wasn't the case. They also don't know that in the Sino Viet War (the full one, not the one that arbitrarily ends in 1979), China moved from using a large force to using a much smaller one with better weapons.

With the way the US works these days, every accusation is a confession. Perhaps Palmer Luckey got this idea by watching how things work much closer to home.

The upper classes like Palmer Luckey crush the middle and lower classes. Destroy their livelihoods, push them into debt, make them desperate. Unmarried, single, angry men (and women) start to accumulate. Then herd them into the military to use as fodder for wars the upper classes like him want to wage.

Palmer sells drones, yet knows so little about how the global drone industry works. He doesn't even know himself and his enemy. His pitch is political, and not objective. Plays well on emotions, but little to show in objective facts. If I'm an investor, that's red flag for a potential scam. If the US military, media, politicians, and investors are falling for his scam, that's fine by me.

Men like Palmer Luckey think that China would happy waste human lives like them, but on a larger scale. The concept that China could have a large population, yet still strive to keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe doesn't compute to them.

The Covid pandemic of 2020 have proven these fools completely wrong. Who have rapidly built hospitals and mobilized the nation to contain the virus? Who have played political games and abandoned the common people to the virus? China, despite having over four times the population of the US had suffered only a fraction of the US's Covid deaths.

But off course, men like Palmer Luckey would never believe in the truth. Everything out of China must be a lie, because they themselves regularly tell lies. They want to continue the fantasy that China is somehow more evil than them. So that they can always feel good about themselves.

At this point, contingencies must be made.

Beijing definitely should invoke the UN Enemy State Clause and conduct lethal preemptive strikes against all Japanese nuclear facilities if there are tell-tale signs of Tokyo working towards a functional nuclear device.

Israel can do surgical strikes against Iran, hence China must not tie their own hands when it comes to the ultimate survival of the Chinese civilization.

I find it almost impossibly stupid that the founder of a drone company would have a view of the drone tech global landscape that is exactly the opposite of the truth. Some may say that he's painting this image to put his company in the right place to get contracts but surely, the Pentagon and US military know that China is the undisputed global king of drones and they have combat drones in service displayed at the military parade (rumored to be superior to all but the best human pilots in 1v1, impossible to defeat if outnumbered) while America's combat drone tech is still at the emergent phase of, "A prototype drone destroyed an aerial target in a test yesterday," which was likely something sent up to fly straight, low and slow. This would make him look like an imbecile who doesn't understand the big picture of his field to his main customer.

Recall that during COVID, there were American think tankers saying how high US COVID death numbers demonstrate that the US has very high tolerance for casualties, which would deter China from armed unification.

Still China should question Japan's true intensions and at least make a complain to the IAEA. Give them another chance to show their true colours first. So that if China needs to activate the UN Enemy State Clause, it had already exhausted all peaceful options first.
