She embarked amid rumors that the PLAN base at Sanya is expanding.. at least that's what rajfortyseven/X has claimed. Anyone know any more about it? There is apparently an unidentified construction, alongside two new piers but the satellite imagery is pretty fuzzy.

Sanya has been undergoing continuous expansion work at least a year by now, albeit not as expansive and stand-out as the expansion works undertaken at Qingdao.

Not sure why the Jai Hind is surprised by this.

Jianggezhuang? The expansion at Sanya seems to have garnered more interest, I have not heard much about this one.. Do you have any idea what they are envisioning? My guess like Raj is that structure might be used as a place for submarine storage or other ISR equipment, but I could be wrong.
