last month in Science and Technology publish specifications of Su-34M with usual statement best in the class
one thing that stands out is that that combat missions within all speed ranges. bomb or fuel laden aircraft usually has limitation on speed. this still has that 45+ tons of MTOW. the standard Su-34 has 13.3 ton engine. they are not done with modernization. Also mention AESA radar for Su-34M and Khibiny-M self protection suite.

The press office quoted one of the pilots of the "Su-34" bomber as saying that the advantages of this aircraft lie in the crew's ability to carry out combat missions within all speed ranges.
Equipment and electronics (especially in the Su-34M version)

  1. Radar: The Sh-141 radar is a multi-functional active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, featuring a wide field of view and the ability to track land, sea, and air targets simultaneously
Khibiny-M

Self-defense systems:
An integrated electronic defense system ( Khibiny-M ) that includes radar warning receivers, bomb triggers, and active jamming radiation to protect the aircraft from enemy missiles.

Russia Upgrades Su-34 Fighter Jets Based on Combat Experience in Ukraine, Says Manufacturer

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has delivered a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Defense Ministry while continuing to modernize the aircraft based on its performance in the special military operation, UAC said in a statement.

Engineers are using data from the combat zone to improve the aircraft, making them "even more effective for solving current and future tasks," UAC CEO Vadim Badeha stated.

Russian and Sri Lankan military personnel practiced their skills during the first joint exercise, "Wolverine Trail 2025." The exercise is taking place at the Sri Lanka Ground Forces Training Center.
The main goal of these exercises is to practice combating illegal armed groups and to exchange unique experience: Russian soldiers will share new tactics and learn the intricacies of conducting operations in tropical jungle conditions from Sri Lankan troops. Judging by the video, Russian units also brought Kurier NRTK robotic systems to Sri Lanka.

The story of an Omsk woman who made it into the Russian Book of Records as the only female Mi-38 helicopter pilot

"Every aircraft type is different from another. Therefore, the Mi-38 differs from the Mi-8 in basically everything: flight characteristics, geometry, engines. Everything is much larger and heavier than on the Mi-8. For example, it has a different instrument panel, one more blade. It's a completely different helicopter."

Russia conducted a test launch of the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile. The RS-24 Yars is a Russian strategic missile system with a solid-fuel mobile and silo-based intercontinental ballistic missile, developed by the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology and first tested in 2007. Yars missiles are manufactured by the Votkinsk Plant in Udmurtia. The Barguzin rail-mobile missile system is based on the Yars.

The RS-24 Yars missile system's launcher is mounted on the chassis of a MAZ-MZKT-7922 tractor. It has a speed of up to 45 km/h and a range of up to 500 km. MAZ truck drivers undergo special training. The RS-24 Yars is based on the Soviet Topol-M missile system. The service life of the Yars missiles is 1.5 times longer than that of the Topol-M. Russia currently has an estimated 180 mobile RS-24 Yars missiles and approximately 24 silo-based missiles, with the number of missiles growing due to rearmament. The system also includes a decoy battalion with inflatable missile mock-ups and engine simulators. Mobile Yars missiles, with their escorts, typically travel up to 100 kilometers in uninhabited areas, constantly being tracked by satellites.

Currently, modern missile defense systems are unable to predict the missiles' flight trajectory. Active countermeasures and false targets are used during the missiles' flight. The three-stage RS-24 missile is 17.8 meters long, 1.86 meters in diameter, and weighs 46 tons. It is armed with four multiple independently targetable warheads with a yield of up to 500 kilotons each. For comparison, the yield of the Hiroshima bomb was 15 kilotons. The missile's circular error from the target is 120-150 meters. The RS-24 Yars missile has a range of up to 12,000 km. Launch preparation time is a few minutes.

Su-57 landed in Dubai. They are now calling it Aircraft Command Platform capable of managing swarm of drones in battlefield from safe location. that itself is extreme range. This is the direction of technology where every aircraft is basically an AWACS.
That Ukranian Erieye disappeared from news. that old concept of AWACS staying behind will no longer work when essentially 6G missiles will be after it if not in air than on the ground.
there are two engine options for it. Product 177C (5G) that is reduced fuel consumption and more electric power or AL-51(5+G) for high powered versions.

The newest engine for OTA aircraft has been designated "Product 177C"

"The latest 177C engine for tactical aircraft boasts improved performance and is a fifth-generation engine. Reduced fuel consumption in all operating modes helps reduce operating costs. Furthermore, the engine provides increased energy consumption for powering the electronic systems of modern aircraft. The power plant also increases their range," the statement reads.

UEC materials on display at the exhibition note that the "Product 177S" matches the AL-31F engine in dimensions and weight, ensuring full interchangeability with existing power plants. The new engine has a specified service life of 6,000 hours. The fan design ensures safe operation of the "Product 177S" when ingested by foreign objects and birds.

The engine features a fully automated digital engine control system (FADEC) with a backup hydromechanical control circuit. The 177S engine produces 14,500 kgf of thrust in full combat mode and 9,000 kgf in maximum combat mode.
