Have you ever heard of parking garages? You know, those concrete structures that are dedicated to parked cars? Some are stand alone buildings, and some are located underground as part of office buildings.

lucretius outed himself as likely living in bumfuckville suburbs since he seems unfamiliar with the existence of underground or above ground multistory parking structures which are extremely common in even small cities of 500k population and up.

Nice for you to provide this. I was looking for the free pdf of IISS 2025 but its still not availble online.

According to this, PLA still operates 289 J-7 and only increased modern fighter count by +20 J-10c, +20 J-16, +30 J-20. Seems extremely conservative when we know China produces around 40 J-16 per year and atleast 70-80 J-20s per year. One explanation could be that there is probably a lag of 2-3 years before a fighter jet count shows up on IISS.

Ignoring the childishness for a moment, not practical for a place with that many employee's.

Look at boeing plant for example

Of course it could just be a poor representation of the final layout.

A SINGLE underground parking lot can have a capacity of 2,400 parking spaces just FYI.

I am sure China can do an order of magnitude better than Toronto.

Some truck-mounted aircraft mockup models under scaffolding, seen on satellite imagery (dated 12 June 2025) at the military parade training base outside Beijing. Are those mockup models of the J-36 and J-XDS for the September 3rd parade? The silhouettes look similar.
