Could be the same system in post #1259.Can anyone ID this possible SAM system? Looks like eight canisters, and the TEL doesn't look familiar to me. Or is this simply an ammo supply vehicle of some kind?

I'm not the only one by far who has seen a 2 rows of four missiles tubes SAM circulating since more than two years on China's roads and rails.
Now it's deployed...

So not a SAM system but rather a BM interceptor? Where does this claim come from?HQ allegedly comparable to PAC 3 MSE
People estimated it based on size and what fits into the PLA air defense network. So not a SAM system but rather a BM interceptor? Where does this claim come from?
PAC 3 MSE and SM-6 aren't comparablePeople estimated it based on size and what fits into the PLA air defense network.
HQ-26 (~PAC 3 MSE/SM-6) - 8 tube, <-- This supposedly also have HHQ-26 version for ship based terminal ABM
HQ-19 (~ THAAD ER) - 6 tube,
HQ-29 (~ KEI/PL-19 Nudol) - 2 tube,
PC-19/DN-3 - single tube (long range ASAT, based on KZ-1)
IMO, all China is missing now is a ship based midcourse interceptor. Also do note that SM-6/PAC 3 MSE are both capable of intercepting aircraft/cruise missile at long range(250nmi range for SM-6Ib) so HQ-26 also likely could do the same.
They aren't comparable in spec, but both are meant for the same role which is terminal phase ABM.PAC 3 MSE and SM-6 aren't comparable
