Okay, honest, this is a true story.

I too once looked closely at the Indians.

It was way back, before the internet existed, other than being a US military project.

So I had to look and read all these books in the library.

These books, about Indian development, mostly written in the 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's, the books in the latter decades, the lamenting and anguish that China had already exceeded them was palatable.

This is was straight out of those old books, what is referred to as cope nowadays.

Needless to say, since those days, I never really followed anything out of India that closely.

Nothing has ever changed in India, since ...

It is so long ago, no one even knows.

Any advancements, all foreign.

Same old story. Some old coping mechanisms. Some old India.

The only new thing I expect for India is that it breaks apart with their disgruntled minorities.

Lose a major war, and India could be no more.

Fun fact. The Philippines' biggest cultural export, Jollibees, was founded by an ethnic Chinese Pinoy.
Most of the industrialist or Taipans are Hua Qiao, majority of Chinoy are also active in small and medium size business owning about half of the country total while the rest are being run by Chinese Mestizo. And of course the landed Gentry almost all of them including some Spanish surname had some Chinese blood in them.

As a matter of fact Marcos trace their family ancestry to Limahong, a Chinese pirate who liberated the northern part of Luzon during the Spanish rule.

From my POV the Chinese hatred are artificially generated and being used as a political tool to redirect the people's grievance and anger, does it work? with majority of the population especially from the island of Luzon had Chinese blood in them how can you hate your own. Plus being Chinese is beautiful, after experiencing discrimination growing up, I had matured beyond my age, looking back it help me become a better person. Filipinos look at Hua Qiao with respect and envy, cause we thrive under pressure and we dont promote hate, ok I had many altercation which resulted to a fight from my teenage years but end result is respect is earned and some of them become my close friends.

Coz they keep mudslinging without stopping? This is amplified by the fact there are 700 million of them on the internet in the English speaking space. Everyone has a limit to their patience. There's a reason why their rep has gotten to this point. You can look at this forum and see anti-India sentiment isn't exactly limited to me.

I find it rather unfair we are supposed to put up with this and think like its just nothing. Its not productive to care what they say but its hard to ignore with the scale they are doing it. India considers China an enemy and if twitter is an indication of anything, even a lot of those "western" accounts that are bashing China and its people could be actually run by Indians. While I have stated soft power is overrated, reputation still is something and they are working hard to try to attack it on spaces that China cannot even access to counter them. Sometimes they even try to say they actually speak for us and we can't say anything coz of muh ccp. Considering how they have banned 8000 accounts during Sindoor, it makes it even more offensive coz they want to attack you freely but cry for censorship when its their turn to get hit.

I was looking at videos of Sanda which has grown in popularity because people can see it is working in the UFC. And then there was this comment saying, ackshully this is Indians teaching China how to fight coz the shaolin temple was allegedly found by some Indian so China should know who their father is. While its a minor comment that can be laughed at, imagine everywhere you go these sort of things pop up when you are not even actively looking for stuff with India. They will eventually get to you. I can simply choose not to watch Palki Sharma videos but its much harder to control going somewhere else and they still show up. A lot of times I have noticed, when India has some supposed achievement, the first thing they say is, I bet China is feeling jealous and nervous right now! Like the thing is about India yet they still manage to take a swipe at China and its people. When Huawei makes advancements, most of us would go this a new development for China's semiconductor industry and a proud achievement. Whatever the west thinks is not really that important compared to China's progress.

I know people in the Philippines bash China yet I don't care. There are way less of them and also as much as the country is hostile to China, I would argue they don't seem to show the same level hate by making every waking moment to bashing China and its people in every space of the internet. They have a lot of other things to care about.
What exactly do you want? It's well known that China beats India at everything by so far that China does not consider India a real rival. That's not enough for you? You want to make it so that all Indian people can't make shit up to comfort themselves online (ironically deepening their weakness)? You can't have that. It's tyrannical for you to think that you can clean up the mouths and minds of 1.4 billion people and that they must verbally restrain themselves because you're uncomfortable with the fact that they can make up their own reality to escape to. Indians cannot do anything to you but you can ruin your own life if you obsess over how to take away their right to oral diarrhea. This is why it's a loss from the very beginning for a normal person to get into an argument with someone who's insane.

Kinda hard to not pay attention when their media is taking a massive dump all over the internet…

The world would be literally a better place if China just placed another Great Firewall around India to keep the Indian trolls inside India. I think such a scene would be self funding as the world at large would gladly pay for this service via a Gofundme.

This is important. People here often complain that China isn't doing enough against its enemies. I would argue that China is engaged in two proxy wars against its main enemies right now - against NATO via Russia and against India via Pakistan. And it's the ideal form of proxy warfare, one where Chinese troops are not involved whatsoever.

If you dispute my characterization of the Russia/Pakistan conflicts as China's proxy wars, ask yourself if either conflict can be sustained if China didn't exist.
If China 100% stop all drone component exports than Ukraine is a bigger loser as it is compensating alot of capabilities like Artillery, Aviation with drones. and without smaller drones it will have to rely on larger runway dependent drones like TB-2 which increase the risk of airfield getting hit as it is dealing with Su-34M and Ka-52M which were not available in the beginning of Ukraine conflict.
If China did not exist than Germany would not be able to afford this Eastern expansion. decline of Germany started much earlier than rise of China.
overall strategy of Putin that he adopted of prolong conflict is sustainable because Russia is part of Arabic system and this reason Russia has best performing currency even though it will prefer lower currency.
The only mistake i think Putin did was entering Ukraine through Belarus (leftist country) now they have learned about Belarus they are more slowly building force structure. If those resources were from beginning in South they would have much bigger area under control.

There you have it, the average (idiotic) thought process of many Jai Russians. That leaked FSB report is looking more and more genuine.

Hey brother ansy1968, thought of something from that semiconductor thread. I am no expert at this stuff, just glad I do not get banned from the thread, lol!

You know what, I wanted to say something to you about this, regarding SMIC and the Koreans, as what moderator Huang posted today, was truly significant, and it did not hit me until later.

SMIC foundry is as big as Samsung foundry in terms of revenue.

We know what means. The Koreans are in deep doodoo.

And, this is where the plot thickens, there is a new leadership in South Korea, the leftist who always hated the Americans. That is the point that most people do not understand about the Koreans. The Koreans kind of hate or dislike everybody, including the Americans. The Chinese do not care if the Koreans hate them, because that is how it has always been.

So Xi Jinping will make Lee Jae-ymund an offer, which will be a demand for them to break away from the Americans in terms of tech sanctions in all forms, otherwise we will allow the market to take its course, or let nature take its course in semiconductors industry.

If SMIC is already about to surpass Samsung, just wait until a fully vertically integrated player in semiconductors like Huawei comes online. Now it is a state secret, that is not so secret.

Break away from the Americans, and you will always have market access to your biggest market, or go take your chances.

It is going to get interesting, starting now!

:eek::p

Speaking of Sanda, with Wang Cong winning her last fight, China now has 4 ranked UFC fighters and of course 1 UFC champion. This unironically makes it one of the strongest Asian MMA countries at the highest levels right now despite being quite late to the game and not having a warrior culture. Something that should be noted is every fighter now or before that became ranked out of China has a Sanda base.

Not too long ago there was some narrative that China was somehow against MMA coz it exposed their fairy tale Kung Fu or whatever. Yet Sanda which is literally state supported has pulled through and there is even a UFC performance institute in Shanghai. Someone like Zhang Weili is a huge star in China. This is a demonstration of how pure hard results can crush narratives. But more importantly it shows how China can come across something new and embrace it contrary to what people think.

While there is a long way to go before competing with the big boys like Russia, Brazil and of coz the US, it shows it can be done and its not impossible. One thing that is lacking though is the coaching and gyms in China are still quite bad. I believe all the ranked fighters as well as the champ train overseas.
