I think the rule of thumb with India is always place their words seconds and their actions first by default. Its much easier to get an assessment of what has happened based on it.
Actions include:
1) Ground air force for two days and when they finally flew on day three, stuck to using stand off munition from deep within Indian airspace.
2) Censored 8000 accounts on Twitter and arrested influencers/intellectuals critical of Operation Sindhoor.
3) Spent 3 billion dollars making emergency weapons purchases.
4) Expedite AMCA development and domestic development of very long range AAMs.
I think the results are pretty clear based on circumstantial evidence.

You can offer your weapons to China's neighbors. But whether they want to put their lives in the hands of your weapons is another matter.
Also their Brahmos is just a modified old Russian P-800 Oniks. I don't get why Indians think its so special. Even Russians no longer use that design for its latest stuff. Also India cannot export these without Russian permit.

This guy is not outright acknowledging that India just got it's ass kicked against Pakistan, but he's on the right track, so that's a good start. The bad part is that he thinks that India can fix its problem by buying weapons. That's never worked in the past and it sure as hell won't work now. There's a painfully obvious solution for India in this mess, but it's a solution that this guy doesn't have the courage to say out loud.
Nah, his logic is posing India as a protagonist. It's highly flawed though because 1. China has no interest in a conflict with India, and 2. if the US has a hard time matching up against China, what the hell is India supposed to do?
