One comment or two.

Think of these small states, let's say Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal.

Then there are all those small island states in the Pacific Ocean, like Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga, and Samoa. (Note, I had to look up Fiji neighbours, I cannot remember those places).

Look at what is happening.

Traditionally, those countries were not in the Chinese sphere of influence, nor there was anything notable about those relations, and those countries were more close diplomatically to their bigger neighbours. We know who we talking about.

India to the west, and Australia and the United States to the east.

The rise of China, or in other words Chinese power, is rearranging all these traditional relationships. It is all happening at once, look west, and look east. China influence lands with an impact.

Thus, the corresponding butt hurt and hand wringing from the same people is expected.

It is kind of like that expression, take the fight to them. By design or it just happens that way, the PRC taking the diplomatic fight right into their neighbourhood where they traditionally dominated.

Do not underestimate Chinese power.

That is all I got to say. Heh!

:p
“Right now there are changes – the likes of which we haven't seen for 100 years – and we are the ones driving these changes together,” President Xi to President Putin as he stood at the door of the Kremlin to bid him farewell.

An enterprising Chinese Diaspora would take advantage of this once in a lifetime historic event and act as the middleman/agent to broker any sort of business deal between China and the West. Why let the Anglos monopolise this middleman business as they have since the days of the opium wars? This is why i say the Chinese diaspora should form cartels and buyers' cartels to demand political change and put pressure on factions in the West who want to marginalise Asians.

Out of all the weirdest shit people come up with to swear vendetta against china, Gina 'my daddy lost his factory job to China' Raimondo is not as pathetic of Matt 'i got beaten up by a policeman trying to be a Sexpat' pottinger and mike 'jabba the hutt' pompeo,

Apparently Gina Raimondo is spinning China's 5nm semiconductor as claiming it's an inferior chip. Yeah because the US is using 3nm but the whole point was she was suppose to prevent China from making the 5nm breakthrough that require the next level advanced tools to achieve. She also seemed butt-hurt that she was used as advertisement for Huawei's smartphones. She kept on saying "we" have the most advanced chips then the interviewer said, "You mean Taiwan!" and you can tell she didn't like it.
lol where is their 3 nm chip?

How do you even argue against anyone let alone from a sitting Congressman regarding the issue and situation about Israel when that someone or anyone who supports Israel's actions for that matter as essentially arguing AGAINST THE GOD OF THE BIBLE? Old testament itself is pretty gnarly and genocide galore full of examples. It is therefore not a surprise that American Congress people in both houses would be hard pressed to go against the very country most of them believe as the home country of their God.

Obviously TikTok needed to be banned because it wasn't mentioned in the Bible.

The fab TSMC is building in the US will be exclusively for 5nm and 4nm. To make 3nm chips would require a whole new fab.
How they gonna subsidise that factory when the USD wont be worth diddly in a decade to help sustain it? The only way that factory is going to be viable is if the US successfully instigates war in east Asia thereby destroying the fabs in taiwan and on the mainland leaving the US as the sole provider of semiconductor chips to the world.

The West, but especially the Anglos have a very Trisolarian mentality at wanting all the high technology of the world to remain in their hands, even to the point of sabotaging other cultures and peoples.

China is spreading democracy around the world by flooding....lol

TSMC's CEO stated that TSMC will charge higher prices for chips produced outside of Taiwan, including those in US factories. I have been saying that American factories will be TSMC's forever bleeding point, and they will never be able to produce cost-effective chips. What China needs to do is to "overcapacity" in the chip field. When the market is flooded with low-priced but equally effective Chinese chips, good luck to TSMC to find many customers for its high priced American chips.
