China Aviation Research Institute (中国航空研究院) has officially released a Low-Boom Aircraft Common Research Model (LARM) and associated data, which will help China's aviation industry develop future civil supersonic (passenger) transports and sonic boom mitigation technologies.

very interesting notes proposals here from MIIT. They did mention SAF on domestic produced aircraft a lot, but I think they should talk more about how to develop that from their current resources. If they are going to be green hydrogen & methanol leaders, then they should devote more R&D into developing SAF from that.

electric aircraft portion is also interesting. They talk about the 500wh/kg battery that CATL is clearly testing out right now with COMAC

hybrid motor is another interesting proposal

keep in mind that getting type certificate is a long process, but once you get it, minor updates can be made without going through the long process again. So in the case of EH216-S, they may be able to upgrade battery density without having to go through the testing again

overall, CAAC will have to work with FAA and EASA to figure out a eVTOL testing process that matches across the board. it would be crazy to have to go through whole testing again with FAA
