Looks like the western puppets will soon be going to war in Niger. France is officially backing the invasion. Obviously they are demanding the return of their colonial resources.
They aren't western puppets, Africans have their own interests as well. You take away their agency by tagging any move as some western conspiracy. A country like Nigeria can't have the Sahel completely governed by Wagner. No country would and should accept that.

Apparently, Nigerian senators have rejected the propose for an invasion into Niger while president and the military is demanding it. So really whose interests are we talking about? The French has thrown their support behind ECOWAS to invade Niger.

Ukraine's GDP per capita was less than Belarus (sanctioned like crazy) and Iraq (Invaded by the US) in 2022.
I doubt Ukraine has such low GDP per capita. Ukrainian making money in Europe and Ukraine one of top Software outsourcing destination. There is no way there income lower. alot of Ukrainian could afford Turkish vacations.
The misfortune of Ukriane was due to some other acts.

The Senate has rejected an option of military operations in the Nigeria’s neighbouring Niger Republic, however, calling on the ECOWAS Parliament and other leaders to condemn the coup d’etat in the country.

According to the Nigerian Senate, the Niger political impasse should be addressed politically rather than using military action.

“Senators believe that the Federal Government should focus on solving the Boko Haram, banditry and ESN/IPOB menaces ravaging the country instead of contemplating going to war in a foreign country. ”

Over 90 per cent of senator who spoke are vehement against sending troops/military action,” PREMIUM TIMES gathered.

BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany's national railway operator would have to spend up to 400 million euros ($437.44 million) to replace all the components in its infrastructure supplied by Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies, Spiegel magazine reported on Friday.

Deutsche Bahn, which is state-owned, would face delays of five to six years for its projects if the German government decided to ban Huawei components in the short term, the report said, citing an internal company document.

Looks like the western puppets are pushing for war in Niger. France is officially backing the invasion. Obviously they are demanding the return of their colonial resources.

However, apparently the Nigerian senators are wary of backing the president and military push for war against Niger.
This is not true. A small group of senators favor dialogue and only the use of force if all else fails. This group is the Northern Senators Forum. They don't want a military intervention yet because 1) They fear their areas will be affected by the flood of potential refugees and 2) They are related to Nigeriens (they speak Hausa and have similar culture, in fact they are the same people). Majority of the other Senators favor intervention.

Nigeria has had enough! It can't allow a Wagner belt in the Sahel, it's completely against its interests. Europeans, whether western or Russian, should not be allowed to control Africa. The Chinese are respectful, they do business and leave. Africa should not let foreign forces start dictating economic policy like they do in Central African Republic. Today the Sahel, tomorrow the coastal West African countries. There's a reason why all the coastal and Island West African countries are intervening.

Trade wars are good and easy to win. Also sanctioning and banning Chinese products but expects China in buying more American stuffs is just delusional.

"As secretary of commerce, Gina Raimondo is America's business ambassador, and I would expect that expanding US exports would be on the agenda of almost any meeting she has with foreign officials," Olson added.

"Whether or not Boeing will specifically be on the agenda for her upcoming meetings in Beijing is hard to know at this point, but pushing for greater market access is a foundational cornerstone of any commerce secretary's portfolio."

You are spreading misinformation.

Almost all the senators spoke and totally ruled out the military options because of many factors and also because of the harmonious relationship that Nigeria and Niger has always enjoyed.
