BUT the Aussies want Yuan for payment surely the Chinese will obliged.China should increase iron ore imports from Russia. Iron ore is the biggest export for Australia.

Australia, when left on its own to make its own decisions, is actually rational. When decisions are made for it on behalf of the US, you get comedyI had a look across the political spectrum to get a feel for what each major party's supporters are saying and basically:
ALP (the current government) side - Albanese is handling Australian-China relationships much better than Scomo and this is another win by Labor, hopefully wine to come soon as well
Liberals (the opposition) side - China is doing this so that this same card could be played again in the future and Labor is falling for it. We should diversify our exports to other countries.
It's curious, neither side are pitching this as a straight up victory in trade war, both side of the political spectrum seems to believe the decision was firmly in China's hand and quite a lot of people seem to wish for return to normal trade relations in other areas to follow (wine, tourism, education etc).
I would've thought there would be more chest beating over this. From China perspective this could be United Front "ally with lesser enemy to strike at the main enemy" type deal to cause rift within 5 Eyes, in additional to any pragmatic reasons due to price fluctuation and Ukraine war.
Why does this sort of sound like a recipe...Not sure if already mentioned but here it is:

"On Aug. 6, 1945, my grandfather rushed into Hiroshima City shortly after the first atomic bombing in history.
As a first responder, he intimately witnessed the horrors of nuclear war that forever changed his perception of the world and his role in it.
Surprisingly, instead of being consumed by anger or sorrow, he devoted his life toward promoting peace.
As Hiroshima rebuilt after the bombing, survivors like my grandfather helped shape an extraordinary culture of peace that permeates every facet of life in the city.
The lesson of Hiroshima for my grandfather was to never forget what happened but to also refuse to become trapped in his feelings of loss, grief, and anger.
Instead, he looked toward the future and joined the “greatest generation” of Japanese who emerged from the ashes of World War II to rebuild Japan.
For the remainder of his life, this lesson of Hiroshima provided him with the resiliency to work toward making his vision of a thriving, modern Japan a reality..."
People that benefit directly from trade with China that I've run into (in my case it's mostly people involved with wine making) were quite fed up with Scomo's policies, but they also didn't want to speak up against antagonising China because it was politically incorrect. If you can ask them what they think Australia should do if US and China come to blows they would generally say Australia should stay out of it and get rich selling resources to both side. Maybe build nuclear weapons so Australia doesn't have to depend on anyone for security.Australia, when left on its own to make its own decisions, is actually rational. When decisions are made for it on behalf of the US, you get comedy
At this point you're not trying to actually have a productive discussion but is now simply just trolling and trying to incite an emotional response.
What are you even trying to really prove here? What's your angle? The first Sino-Japanese War of 1895 proved that the time of the Qing Dynasty and it's corrupt policies made China a complete backward in terms of keeping with the technological advances of the time, most especially in the revolution of military affairs (RMA). Imperial Japan was indeed successful with their reforms during the Meiji era in modernizing Japan especially its military to ensure that it would not be enslaved or colonized by the Imperial western countries that had taken over key importance area of China. But was Japan right in it's hubristic efforts and criminal activities with its barbarity and genocidal actions during the subsequent years with its expansionist actions against China's then Manchuria region and beyond, leading up to the official announcement of WWII?
How exactly is Japan the better race or superior race than Chinese? In what capacity especially in today's contemporary time? Do list them since am quite curious where Japan leads or is that superior to the current China.
You seem really hell bent on trying to prove that Japan was the victim of WWII and were also justified in their actions especially the laughable notion of Japanese racial superiority. Are you of Japanese descent? Perhaps a Chinese that worships at the altar of Japan and or worse a white dude that simps for everything Japanese.
So the cost of a color revolution can be counted in a few playstations now? Interesting...Promise of free playstation by an influencer has shut down Manhattan union square.

Well they may look the same but there aerodynamic efficiency will be different. The older Toyota/Lexus that was designed 15 years ago had Cd of 0.35 which exceed current Defender. Not sure where exactly to put this. However, this has been debated for quite a while on the web, do you call it a copycat of the Defender?
![]()
Compared to its predecessor, increases in external dimensions were kept to a minimum to help preserve on and off-road agility, but the introduction of numerous aerodynamic enhancements reduced the coefficient of drag (Cd) from 0.37 to 0.35.
minimum turning circle of 5.8 metres (5.2 metres three-door) contributes to exceptional manoeuvrability.
- Class-leading quietness that minimizes fatigue even on long journeys
- Exclusive all-terrain tires combine design and aerodynamic performance to enhance driving performance
I found out that the Defender's fight against air grows even fiercer for some of the other versions - the Defender 110 D200 and D240 have a drag coefficient of 0.39 Cd, while the P400 and Defender 90 have a drag coefficient of 0.40 Cd.
That is Soviet legacy. Ukraine got more benefit than other republics by having more industrialization. Poland simply not got much post war and post 1990s reduced to assembly lines for western business.Polish can never build advanced high bypass jet engines even if their life depended on it let alone nukes, Ukraine before the war could do both and that was with decades of mismanagement, corruption and negligence, They even had the third largest nuclear weapons stockpile and a half finished nuclear aircraft carrier at the time of formation retards sold both for scraps
Vyacheslav BOGUSLAYEV is a former Ukrainian deputy of the pro- Russian party of regions and main shareholder of the company JSC MOTOR SICH, a Ukrainian aircraft engine manufacturer. He is responsible for supplying engines to the Russian army to produce and repair combat helicopters (Mi-8, Mi24, Mi28 and Ka-52), which have been used extensively during the conflict in Ukraine, especially at the beginning of the war. He continued to provide military equipment to Russian troops despite the conflict. He is thus responsible for supporting and implementing actions and policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
Defence chiefs deliver ultimatum for Sunday after mediation fails to reinstate elected president
West African defence chiefs have drawn up a plan for military action if Niger’s coup is not overturned by Sunday, the regional bloc said, after mediation failed in a crisis that threatens regional security and has drawn in global powers.
The Economic Community of West African States (Ecowas) has given Niger’s coup leaders until Sunday to step down and reinstate the elected president, Mohamed Bazoum.
France backs ECOWAS push to reverse Niger military coup
France will support efforts by the West African regional bloc ECOWAS to make the military coup in Niger fail, the French foreign ministry said on Saturday.
French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna met with Niger Prime Minister Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou and the Niger ambassador in Paris on Saturday.
Earlier, Colonna said the coup leaders in Niamey had until Sunday to hand back power, otherwise a threat by member countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to stage a military intervention had to be taken “very seriously”.
Niger Coup: Nigerian senators reject Tinubu’s request for troops deployment
According to a senator who attended the meeting, senators agreed to pass a resolution condemning the coup and to commend ECOWAS leaders on their efforts to restore constitutional order in Niger, but they ruled out military options.
“Almost all the senators spoke and totally ruled out the military options because of many factors and also because of the harmonious relationship that Nigeria and Niger has always enjoyed.
Over 90 per cent of senator who spoke are vehement against sending troops/military action,” PREMIUM TIMES gathered.
“Senators opposed to military action pointed out that our military is highly ill-equipped and not prepared to fight any war. They said that we have fragile peace in Nigeria and that Niger is the highest arms market in Africa.
