since no real F-35 news are being released by the Pentagon/LM this summer, here's the poll:

How many US F-35s will get funded in FY2020?

my guess is 88 (ten more than requested)

and LOL don't quit on me!

I wonder whether the JSDF (and the ROK) will adopt the SRVL recovery for its F-35Bs as with the RN unlike the USMC?

I sincerely doubt it? as the size of the Queen allows that to be part of their "routine", F-35B carriers are smaller around the world, remember the Queen was to have Cats and Traps for the C-model at one point in her life?

It was demonstrated on a US LHA so it is possible. The Queen Elisabeth class was designed with a variant for the French that had cats and traps this is true but it wouldn’t have been English.

Mr. Brat, you may well be correct that there is insufficient deck length to conduct SRVL recovery onto the Izumo. I guess we shall see.

Yes Sir, SRVL is indeed a very useful technique for getting a loaded F-35B back on deck, but the larger the deck the easier it is, the smaller the deck, the smaller the bring back, and the higher the technical difficulty of getting it all back on!

The F-35 boys and a few girls here and there will be innovating as they roll out this amazing airplane, surprisingly the B model is a very fine airplane, and a piece of cake to fly when matched against the real man's airplane, the Harrier!

I doubt we have seen many? if any? chicks flying Harrier's, that takes "balls"! Bueller? Bueller? Ferris Bueller, any body have picture of a "chick on the stik" in a Harrier?

Valerie is a very sweet girl my friend, from St. Louis, and recently married, and loves cats?, but Valerie sweet heart, you ought to be ashamed of this title! another sweet, cute little "twitter feed". Jura my friend, don't you ever get tired my friend of posting the same old worn out, rehashed, reframed fairy tales??

There were only two instances of F-35's with horizontal stab erosion from the afterburner? they were anomalous, but we are gonna have to here about them until the Lord Returns??

as well I'm going to add that so many defense journo's on twitter, are just "tweeting back and forth" to each other, they are their own real audience?
