China's right to conduct 'freedom of navigation' exercise. :D;)

I don't see the equivalence. Liaoning was sailing along China's coast, either in China's territorial waters or international waters. Taiwan's territorial waters are technically China's, although Liaoning was not sailing within 12 nautical miles of them. The US's notion of 'freedom of navigation' is sailing within other nation's territorial waters.

well, the US have different rules for themselves ... the US is the only solo superpower in the world, so it is understandable. In fact the US hasn't signed UNCLOS
