It's hard to understand this sarcastic tone knowing that no one is oppressing Muslims in France. Which is quiet opposite to China...China oppress all of relegions in the country and it's brutal.

It seems to be an anonymous internet comment. The style and content of the post resembles US/UK/French media responses to Uighur terrorist attacks in China. It is a sarcastic joke made at the expense of the French.
thanks, that's pretty much what I later guessed

anyway, there are thousands (or millions? I don't know) of Arabs in France (I mean French citizens) who are not exactly patriotic, and would start booing La Marseillaise at a soccer game ... or worse

(if you thought I hated Arabs or something, you should know I even danced at the end of Ramadan:

but I admit below articles in Central European servers there's plenty of anti-Arabic comments right now; I noticed there most recently:

Reminds me of the time when Uighur fans started booing the Chinese team during the China-Turkey soccer game. I know that the Chinese National Soccer Team is no good, but still...

I didn't get this post, I can't even summarize the talking points here ... so let's start with the google translation of the Chinese text quoted:

who wrote it, and why, please?
In the past couple of years China got their fair share of Islamic terrorism attacks, carried by those affiliated with either AQ or Daesh, or those "inspired" by Daesh but couldn't make the trip to the "university of terrorism" aka wartorn Syria, so they carried out less organized attacks there. But whenever the news got covered in the Western media outlets, they don't call it "terrorist attack" as they'd be if happened in the West, and instead smacked it all on China's fault and blah blah blah...well you should know, sarcasm is a way to show very deep-rooted resentment.

And so there you've it, those exact words, plugged from what the West threw at China, changed the roles and characters, and then threw it right back at the West. Not that we're happy that the French got hit that many times in the time span of 12 months, but more like to get back at the double standard treatment China has suffered when comes to Islamic Terrorism.

It's hard to understand this sarcastic tone knowing that no one is oppressing Muslims in France. Which is quiet opposite to China...China oppress all of relegions in the country and it's brutal.
And actually Muslim-worshipping minorities have long been benefiting from preferential treatments, to the point that the Han population ain't that happy about it. And religion? Well you obviously don't know modern history of China, the part that religions and NGOs have long been used as subversion tools by foreign powers, and the Vatican's role as Cold Warrior back in the day only serves to vindicate Beijing's suspicion, and thus seeks control of religious activities with a short lesh.

And honestly, the brand of Islam that bred terrorism in the recent decade all over the world, the conservative Wahhabi sect, also infiltrates China's Muslim population - the change of female dresscode from the traditionally colourful Uighur style to the head-to-toe-covered-in-black style of the Wahhabi sect is just the most external changes, Uighur terror group make affiliation with first the AQ then now Daesh isn't news either.

So you should see by now, that China and France is supposedly in the same trench facing the same enemy, yet how the French treated the Chinese with such double standards, so don't blame the Chinese netizens to "get even" in such a fashion.

(and apparently I had guess before anyway), but I thank you (I almost always get ignored when I ask anything China-related, you guys perhaps think: frigging Troll :)

We should look back at how insulted and infuriated each of us felt, as individuals, when the western media refused to acknowledge terrorists attacks in China were terrorists attacks, and instead were busy acted as willing mouthpieces to terrorists and all the other petty and pathetic tricks they pulled...and then think, is that how we would like ordinary French people to feel about us?

For me, the answer to that is a definite 'NO!'. We should remember who it was that have really wronged us in the past, but not to blame an entire country or race for the actions of a very few despicable individuals.

As tempting as it is to give the French a taste of their own medicine, it is beneath our own dignity to stoop so low and abandon our own values and principles.

We should instead offer the French people our support, condolences and help in dealing with both the aftermath of this latest attack, and also to try and improve security to prevent future attacks.

In doing so, not only will we be doing the right thing, we will also be serving our own best interests. Because if we treat the French with the humanity and compassion they deserve, if there is another attack against China, and the same media scum tries to pull the same crap, the French people will remember how we treated them, and instead of quietly agree with the media talking heads, they would speak out against them angrily for trying to score cheap points from atrocity.

The China haters in the media wants ordinary western people to share in their hate. We should not play into their hands and do their work for them.

Very thoughtful post Wolfie, and I believe its quite possibly the Sino Defense "Post of the Day", so very nice brother, and mirrors the words of Jesus to " do unto others, as you would have them do unto you".

All these things make us angry, and they should, but we need to be angry at the kind of "hateful garbage", spoken in the name of "religion", that makes these radical extremists feel "justified" in the murder of innocents. More importantly, we need to hold these individuals and groups responsible for their cowardly acts of murder, particularly of innocent women and children.

Finally Mr. Wolf, I will tell you, that you have personally made me aware of my own "vengeful feelings" and reminded me that a "Christian, as a man, that we can choose to hate, or we can choose a much better path", and I promise I will try to follow your much better path, not only today, but in the future!

also many thanks Master Jura, for reminding us of the heart-ache that we all feel, as "civilized" men, and the sorrow that has now come upon the "innocents" once again.
