one thing is "intention", another thing is money, so let's wait and see in 2024 (and for now I set aside quote/unquote value of a carrier force comprising two dozen fixed-wing aircraft, because I don't know if the RN will have a carrier force comprising two dozen fixed-wing aircraft)

F-35B launch from HMS Queen Elizabeth R08 whilst alongside in Portsmouth Harbour; this aircraft was part of the Westlant 19 deployment to the USA by 617 sqn but went unserviceable before it could be flown back across the Pond.
