I do remember that China doesn't have equivalant of Nomex fabrics, because if they do they'd have their naval crews issued with anti-flash gear, as well as protective gloves for fast-roping, and one-piece aviation suit, along with other things.

Really? China doesn't have Nomex? That's hard to fathom for a country that makes almost EVERYTHING in the world. Nomex is something invented in the 50s, and it is quite common in western world as everyday item - you can get nomex gloves from shops nowadays.

So I don't think Nomex supply is a problem in China. They MAKE Nomex there.

BTW, what is that suitcase they are carrying? PLA's annual budget report? The makeup kit? The lunch box? In my opinion the way the PLA pilots dressed just seems bizzare and impractical to me. They look more like factory workers with fancy helmet. They don't seem to be carrying a holster for sidearm, the uniform is bright blue even though chopper operations are mostly inland which makes their blue uniform a big target (compare to western pilots who wear camo), they don't seem to be wearing load bearing vest for various essential survival gears, nor do they seem to have that many pockets on their pants for the maps and gear that's needed.

These two photo actually are showing student pilots and their instructors. The "brief case" could be flight data recording devise for after flight analysis in class room unless they are going for pencil pushing in the air.

Come on, you don't use American standard and ask everybody else to follow. I don't mean PLAAF's uniform is beautiful or anything but at least, it's their ways.

Additionally Most helicopters and fighter Aircraft are not pressurized or operated with open exposure. In the Case of Rotary wing aviation remember with the exception of a few token Russian types Almost none of the Worlds Helicopter use Ejection.

Actually some helicopters have overpressurized cockpits, the Mi-24/28 and Ka-50/52 i know for certain have a NBC filtering system and have a slighty overpressurized cabin to keep NBC agents out of cockpit. In case of cockpit penetration they are issued with
KKO-VK-LP equipment which is an oxygen mask (KM-37) with 2l oxygen flask for 1.5hours.
The pressure of the cabin is automatically adjusted by the two compressors from the engines.
The filtering sytem also works when cockpit is penetrated and smoke is inside the cockpit, the filtering system will blow out the smoke to re-establish workable environment and reduce the danger for pilot to crash due bad visibility.

Other tha those few helicopters i am not aware of any other helicopters with overpressure, never found information on AH-2 Rooivalk, tbh.

They were for many militaries phased out but have also been retained by many. Its a matter of choice and function. from time to time there have been synthetic jackets used in there place like the MA-1

NO. The US military issues to it's rotary wing flight crews special uniforms sets. They are made in the Same Camouflage patterns for the Sake of Escape and Evasion.
The Us army uses the A2CU of Army Aviation Combat uniform before this set it used the Improved Aviation Battle Uniform. USN, USMC, USCG, As well as many other foreign nations issue Fire resistant Clothing sets to Aviation and vehicle crews. There is some over lap but it's from the other way around. in recent years fire resistance has spread as a requirement in Infantry and ground forces.

The USAF issues Leather Flight Jackets to it's pilots as does the USN and USMC. and others. out of Tradition and Function.

The point about leather flight jackets from own experience in a flight school with cadets is that the big thing about such flight jackets is prestige and a status symbol, like black berets for speznas or green berets for green berets. On exercise where we had to simulate a crash helicopter crash, one of us were issued with such a leather flight jacket from a major of UH-1 and i could wear it and i have to say you feel like god damn VIP, they are cozy, they make even the ugliest person to a womanizer and the leather keeps very warm, dry and the leather is thick enough that you can not cut with a knife, of course when you do it violantly you will cut through, but normal it is resilient and prevents injuries from normal cuts, meaning it is very good when you crash that you can climb out of the wreckage without cutting yourself or coming in contact with sharp or hot metal parts or fire.
