Media allowed a look today (Mon) at half-sunk INGSTAD F313 - note ship has settled a bit more over the past couple days. Salvage work has not yet begun, but plans to raise the ship and take her to Haakonsvern for repairs.

Norwegian Defence Forces now confirm several of the wires which held the vessel in place have been torn, and has now effectively sunk (though the ensign still flies defiantly). Sad times! Pic by Jacob Østberg/Forsvaret

hopes to raise sunken INGSTAD in 3 weeks, place the damaged ship on a barge and get her to Haakonsvern naval base near Bergen for evaluation. A "very demanding" salvage challenge at that rate.
