Look at the inside of that landing gear well. That bulkhead is a flat sheet with some flimsy looking bolts sticking out of it. That doesn't look like the real thing to me. You'd expect a real fuselage bulkhead to have at least some ribs, gussets, with cables and pipes running along the surface. That and the fact that realistic looking mockups are regularly shown at Zhuhai.

I think that's a side access bay, the landing gear should fold forward not sideways. It could be used to store anything at this stage and may not need the cables or piping.

Isn't this the first airshow in which the regular version of J-16 is displayed? I hope they fit some PGM on it! I pray to Chinese gods that they put a 1000kg PGM on the J16 on static display this time!!!!!
