Maybe micro air to air missiles. Been hearing about US and China developing these for a while... basically A2A missiles small enough where you can fit >10 into internal bays of new stealth platforms including UCAVs since their smaller size and lower RCS allows them to sneak in closer especially from less anticipated directions.

Russia has already developed smaller R-37 missiles iirc but not micro missiles.

Serrated bottom edge, so the whole thing closes inside the plane. What I don't understand is why not a more conventional but flexible and roomy centre bay layout like the J-20's, lack of internal room?

Is this really the loyal wingman, or a smaller sized UAV that just happens to look like incorporating elements of J-20 design wise?

Looks like the 玄女战机

Part of the 南天门计划, or as I called it, China's version of star war-esque strategic fuyou.

There is another one FH-97, with air intakes on top and what looks like a more conventional weapon bay on the belly. So maybe the FH-97 is geared more toward ground target and the A variant anti-air?
