Its a bit too noticeable to ignore.
There are only so many ways you can make a compound helicopter before it becomes something else
I wonder if the jf-17b here is a prototype from CAC that they repainted, since it has 0002 as its number and an AVIC logo on the vertical tail... also it's funny how they literally wrote "2-seat Xiaolong" on the side like the fact is going to go unnoticed otherwise xdIt appears that some displays have been temporarily moved inside in preparation for typhoon Nalgae.

It likely is a prototype airframe.
YJ-21E is still confusing me on what exactly it looks like. Photo taken by someone on the ground, it doesn't look like PS'ed to me as previously claimed, but it doesn't match the brochure either while looks precisely like the KD-1.
One possibility could be that real YJ-21 is still confidential so they replace the model with KD-1 and repaint it into YJ-21E. Any thought on why?
