Some long-term exhibitors said that this year's air show could take place some months earlier than November, based on this report:

So as much as I wish this to happen, I - at least for the moment - prefer to remain sceptical if such a major event can be done this year.
In the end any final decision this schedule or the local authorities' and especially the exhibitors' wish will meet reality.

Let's wait and see .. and hope at least.

The Zhuhai city government probably wouldn't want to hold it obviously, but the airshow would have apparent political implications (for the official reveal of the H-20 probably, if not more), especially when Sino-US tensions remain strained. So it wouldn't be up to Zhuhai's preferences and the decision will be coming from high up the ranks.

They will probably have a number of restrictions on participants. For Chinese residents the green QR code would be required, and foreign nationals will definitely have to be quarantined and frequently tested, maybe for 21 days even.

With that amount of precautions taken the airshow should proceed fine.

Agreed, but IMO there won't be an "official reveal of the H-20"!

True. Probably more about the j20, a load more drones, and hopefully news on the FC-31.

Indeed ... my hopes - if it will ever happen - are for the WS-10C-powered J-20A, maybe the latest J-15s, the Y-20U and Y-20B maybe ... Z-20 naval variant and surely many new UAVs.

And indeed I hope for a glimpse onto the J-35, even if I hope that until November it will be already flown.

Do we know how is the weather in October? We know that Zhuhai in late November is always cloudy and foggy. I Hope is it better, so we can see clearly the airshow.

"Typhoon season in East Asia:- While typhoons can happen anytime from May to December, the main season in China is July through September and the peak of the storm season is in August."

By October the weather would be good.
