World view of china and taiwan

since this is such a multi national forum with norwegians, iranians, americans, chinese, taiwanese, and many other races, what do you all think about china and taiwan and their relationships and future?

i support peaceful reunion with an intergrated economy and military, but taiwan can be self governing.

I say China should just leave Taiwan alone and let them be their own country.

why? can you back your statements with a bit of your thinking, or some proof?
