Thanks! I'm not really familiar with any aircraft but US. I was just reading the text on the page I found that pic.

Yes it is . they were either purging something or what they call blowing stack gas. Kinda like the ship farting...:)

Gulf of Mexico (Sept. 9, 2005) - A Mexican Navy Mi-8 helicopter takes off from the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), off the coast of Mississippi. The Mexican and Dutch Navies have joined with the U.S. Navy in the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
