both Malaysia and Singapore are good choices for immigration, in my humble opinion.
Singapore has a higher living standards, so naturally prices are higher there. It is also remarkably safe to wander at night there. But as a city state, you may find life a bit boring, and the Singaporean government is said to be just a bit too overbearing and parent-like.
If you ask me, I prefer Malaysia whose citizens are genuinely friendly if you respect their culture and way of life. As a bigger country, it offers more diversity, and more fun to drive around, but mind you, it is right hand drive.

Depends on what your aspiration. English and Mandarin language skills are in high demand in most of east Asia. Would not limit myself too much including China, Japan or South Korea.

I applying to EF to be English teacher in China, they ask for video and voice sample to make sure my accent isnt too bad

Why do you want to go teach english in China? It's a dead end job with declining future prospects.

How well is your spoken Chinese? How well do you write? Do you know anyone in China? What's your education background?

I would not recommend going to China unless you have a well thought out plan.

I work in IT, maybe I can get a job at Huawei but Im not sure Im smart enough to join such an elite club and since I carry a US passport that might work against me given the current geopoliticial climate

My cousins and etc are in Guiyang

Give up ur US citizenship... It just means paying taxes whereever u go.

If you want to be a digital nomad, Chiang Mai is the center of it all right now. Singapore is very much buttoned up corporate culture driven. Malaysia is laid back and relaxed.

If you want to leave just because you don't like the atmosphere in the US, there's always Canada. Nice and short trip across the border, and a far easier immigration than China. Plenty of IT jobs over here.
