Don't worry: the PLAN has one.
Yep. But would PLAN lend one or two to super power leader ? Our world saving leader is having tough time.
Laser defence system - gone
Rail gun - Boom.
Coming next - Next generation aircraft.
Hopefully it will fly at least unlike F35s that likes it in bottom of ocean.

"The first ever ship to be equipped with a rail guns is..."
*Zumwalt raises its hand*
*Type 072III-class landing ship Haiyang Shan (936) cuts in front*
"That's right, it's me"
I was reading the article and went into the comment section. Someone said something that got me curious. He said that this was a real railgun whereas China's railgun was a hybrid because it uses powder or something like that. Any comments on this?

That sort of knowledge isn't in the public, so anyone who claims to know something about it is talking out of their ass.

But let's go along with it in the mean time. Suppose it's true, so what? To use an analogue: modern day nuclear warheads use a three stage fission-fusion-fission design. Does the fact that the bomb uses fission in its primary and third stage somehow take anything away from its "thermonuclear/fusion" -ness?
