They have raised an army used to fly aircraft that has price tag as if those are gold plated.
"Efficiency" should be the key when it comes to military industrial complex. Otherwise it's like a kid who will gobble up everything.

The USA also removed the Turkistan Islamic Party from its list of terrorist organizations last year and is allegedly poised to also remove HTS from the list. Some say this means the Syrian Army will enter Idlib to preempt any possible attacks from the insurgents in the Idlib pocket.

Thirty years ago, US forces carpet bombed two highways full of retreating Iraqi troops and fleeing civilians after Saddam Hussein ordered Iraqi forces to withdraw from Kuwait. Today, the slaughter is known as “The Highway of Death.” The attacks killed up to 10,000 people.

“Up to 10,000” though that seems like an extremely exaggerated number others go as low as 300, the number is probably closer to 800. With 2000 captured. Next sits not one highway but two. Highway 80 and highway 8.
Two incidents combined into one by lazy journalists.
Highway 80 is the one they want to remember more yet it wasn’t American it was coalition American, British, French and Canadian aircraft. Highway 8 was American AH64. Next although cars are there in large numbers so are armored vehicles including tanks, fighting vehicles anti aircraft guns. These were armored divisions into which civilians were mixed by force of the Iraqis who wanted human shields.

Highway 8 is the same name as Highway 80 once you cross the Iraq-Kuwait border. Both events happened on the same day after Iraq announced they would retreat from Kuwait

I didn't know open top trucks and sedans were commonly part of Iraqi armored columns, given how I literally can't see a single tank in three picture of hundreds of vehicles.

Just glancing at the last picture Haldilal Posted theres is clearly a tank on the left side 5th-ish vehicle up from the bottom. Poor attempt at throwing shade.
